Although it might not fall into the description people usually give to liminal spaces I really like images that have an opening or outlook to an empty sky, personally I like to imagine that room or structure exists on its own floating in the sky, detached from the rest of the world, like, complete isolation in some self-contained space. I guess in that sense it's liminal in that it doesn't quite seem like it belongs in our reality
