>>8013759Thank you! I couldn't do much focus on B&W, but there's still a few to go before the end (this is from 3 years ago)
>>8013890On the way up to Daishoin, on Miyajima
There was a path lined with hundreds of jizous, probably all donations to the temple, and as we turned to take it, we saw smoke flowing down the stairs
The weather something like 35C with 75% humidity, so it was pretty surreal
Turns out the temple complex got fog makers in a few places, that turn on every 15 or 20 minutes
We got the same magical effect when exiting the tower on the left of this image

>>8013716 >>8013717), and as we were taking the stairs down, we started hearing rapid percussions coming from the basement, a priest had started praying in the hall, chanting and banging the drum in a quick, strong musical rythm, as we exited the tower, this is what we saw, mist on the sides of the temple, it was surreal on this hot summer afternoon.
>>8013894I'm glad you're enjoying it, there's been a lot more kindness and comments than I had expected!
Paris does have some very nice looking places and museums, but I wouldn't agree to living there
Would like to visit Giverny though, that sounds very nice!
I could say more I'm sure, I ran out of the space in the post c':
I'm using a Fuji X-Pro3, with a custom recipe to get me closer to Fuji Superia, and in this case some further editing in Photoshop
