Been depressed my entire life. I tried in high school to improve things, then college, and in in various jobs I've worked afterwards. Things never get better. I don't know what to do anymore.
>fix your diet / exercise!
I've been lifting for 10 years. I also ride a bike, run, and kayak. I eat healthy, almost never eat fast food or drink soda. I don't do drugs, and hardly drink. I sleep at least 8 hrs a day.
>go out / meet people!
I go to museums, art shows, music shows, meetups, bars, clubs alone. Nobody's really interested in talking to a single man; people at bars are with their friends, or just drunkenly chat with whoever. It's not true friendship. Because of my isolation and depression, my social skills are kinda shitty, so I just end up listening or asking questions.
>get some hobbies!
I read books, write, draw, paint, play guitar, lift weights, hike, have plants, and have a fish tank. It all feels rather pointless.
>therapy
I've seen twelve therapists and three psychiatrists. I've tried over ten medications, even natural supplements and shit.
