Funny how we still romanticize classical architecture but have chosen this bullshit over neoclassical or something else traditional.
I'm convinced it's because a bunch of rich elites and oligarchs have decided that it would benfit them to subvert all cultural norms and expressions of tradition and that's why they've bankrolled this ugliness. Applies to art too.
