I could write a book about my fucked up times around age 20, but I'm 34 now, worked my ass off, went from working a help desk job to being a fairly well-compensated contracting consultant for a healthcare app, and I live in one of the taller buildings in pic attached. Got a girlfriend who isn't crazy, either, which is a miracle in this city. Not a cheery pic, but I figured it might give you hope.
