Not exactly WW2 but it's heavily related. The British sold a lot of the wartime fleet they had built after the war and the Dutch bought this ship. My grandfather served on this ship as a sailor for a few years after the war. At first he served on a submarine for a very short time but he really didn't like that and he got really sick when they passed through the seas just north of Scotland.
