>>7396378Just try to keep your grade in the class up as much as possible. AP calc is easier than 1st year calculus. You may get credit for it, but it’s probably better to take calc 1 in college unless your AP a teacher was amazing and you ace the exam. If you messed up too much and can’t salvage your grade, I doubt 1 grade will undo college acceptances. Grades aren’t everything man. I just graduated from a top 10 engineering school and I’m telling myself that - even with highest honors, I still felt inadequate to the people who bragged about their 4.0. You’ve got the rest of your life ahead of you - messing up one class doesn’t mean you’re stupid. There are so many important things in life school fails to teach us. Don’t forget to develop the other parts of you as a person. I sacrificed a lot for school and it left me feeling empty for a long time. Build relationships with people. Find a hobby you’re passionate about. And as cheesy as it sounds, find a way to give back to your community. It’s good for you even if you hate it at first. It’s going to be ok man. Hang in there and keep your chin up.
