I've been with my current place of employment for 4.5~ years, and helped bring it out of the absolute bottom when it was the owner and myself but now I find myself wanting to move onto something bigger and better. I am currently enrolled in school full time along with working full time and I am very grateful for the owner and what he's done for me, and his willingness to work with my schedule, yet I find myself updating my resume in preparation for an interview with a much larger firm that I have no ties to. It's not like I don't feel fulfilled with where I am; I'm at the point where I'm practically running the company operations and I know that the moment I leave the whole place is going to fall apart, but the idea of staying in the same place for 30+ years doesn't register in my head, especially when I feel that I could be making more and doing more with my abilities instead of casting by on my natural ability like I have been doing for most of my life.
