Some psychologists are starting to get them in their offices. It's an alternative to meds, I'm not sure exactly how it works but it's great because there's nothing chemical about it. That means it pretty much works for everyone. I don't exactly remember how, but it was something like special vibrations on your head that releases serotonin or something? Anyways, the problem is, not every psychologist has one yet. Also, it's expensive, so you need the right insurance to cover that. Essentially, you go to the doctor and have them use it on you once a day for a couple weeks, then just a few times a week, then once a week, etc. until eventually, you no longer have a dependance on meds or anything that gives you chemical balance. You just have chemical balance on your own then. I don't know everything about it, but I suggest you look into it if you're interested, I know I am. Sorry for the long post.
