I work for an elite MSP and I can assure you that there are PLENTY of tech firms desperate for good programmers/coders/engineers. Our best engineers work remotely or overseas. Setup a "command center" where you can zoom/teams and look professional. Jump through whatever hoops they require, play nice, dress well, be painfully professional (but not weird), and just realize that you're in the driver's seat. There's a huuuuuge lack of qualified IT professionals right now and people will take a chance on you if you play the game.
Also, I have suffered from severe depression, anxiety, and PTSD most of my adult life. It's a struggle, but once you start building a solid daily routine and go to work at a job you don't hate, life ain't bad. Anyone reading this that struggles with this shit, I can not stress how adherence to a daily routine helps. Also, less screen time.
