>>7217597I had a similar situation, I declared for Astronomy when I went to university but my first steps into the higher math and science necessary to pursue it were disastrous. Ended up switching my major to History. I've made peace with the fact that I'm probably just not well suited to doing hard science as a career, but that hasn't blunted my love for amateur astronomy at all.
