>>6403311I doubt it. Brilliant people aren't an everyday commodity that can be subjected to simplistic models like supply and demand. Math and science are infinite in all direction and so are their opportunities. They have been king since we've been aware of them and they will be king long after you and I are dust. Thus the people who study and pioneer them are inherently more important than those who don't. The industrial revolution, the space race (then and now), and the race for alternative fuel sources and the holy motherload, fusion power.
Moral of the story, engineers and doctors are more important than retail managers and business majors because their trade runs on a more exact and reliable science.
