>>6170210My fiance is a welder and he actually went to a trade school. He went for a 9mo course at Hobart Institute of Welding in Troy Ohio. I think tuition was about 10,000 total but he got to learn every kind of welding and even their shitty students are better than *some* self taught professionals, or so I'm told. Also, in same area there is a Association of blacksmiths that offer classes. He was interested but we haven't had a chance to check it out yet.
Also, 27/f here, from Ohio (obviously) - I collect pictures in an effort to turn my packrat habit into a purely digital one :)
