I gotta say, I'm kinda over everyone pushing each other out of the way to show off how god damn minimal they got their sweet setup, at least how much of a circle jerk it feels like. But really, what's a better alternative?
It's become trendy, and as a hipster I can't stand that. But a nice minimal desktop/phone/fuck-it-let's-talk-about-room-furniture can be incredibly functional and it always looks clean/uncluttered.
Seriously, what are my other options? Or are we actually just going to end up with incredible computation devices capable of insane graphics composition that display nothing but blank screens?
