i found a way to get 1080p+ resolution (or any resolution you want) kinda consistently; picrel is 8k - it was made with the ctrl + shift + M command on firefox that allows you to emulate any resolution you want, and do a screenshot of the emulated page (such is picrel). do note that the zoom function doesn't alter the box sizes anymore, and with picrel i scaled up the boxes with the (added) scale rule in the styles tab in inspect element; picrel boxes' scale is 3 (this scale rule also scales the background sometimes in cases different than picrel, so be wary of that). also i set the gradient offset here to 49.99999% (through the styles tab in inspect element); when i input more 9s into this number, and when i input 50%, it seems to give a really choppy line in the place where the gradients contact - i feel that 49.99999% gives a smooth enough result
