i truly believe sometimes letting go allows space to open up in your life for much better things to enter.“out with the old, in with the new” is a very true statement.. holding onto events, bad memories, the loss of friendships or relationships can be very unhealthy. obviously take time to grieve and accept what has happened, but the minute you accept it, let it go. you only have the ability to change so much, accept what you cannot alter, use the lesson to learn from, let shit go and move forward! i cannot stress this enough. the minute i distanced myself from a bad relationship and bad friendships, i allowed myself to open up more and had room for amazing friends and stumbled across the most perfect girlfriend- all when i was least expecting it! let things go, it isn’t worth the energy or time to dwell on.
Rmember the best kinds of people always have some kind of scar.
I too am having a rough time with my gf and we havent heard from each other for days now, but im still hopeful things will get well. I hope the same for you anon.
