I love warm, foggy nights in the summer. As a teen in high school, I would sneak out of the house and drive down some of my hometown's more lonely and seemingly abandoned roads. Occasionally, I'd stop the car, get out, and enjoy the mood. There were train tracks that ran through the town as well, so I'd sit on the hood and just listen to passing trains, their quiet, humming rumble of their engines and the way the ground slightly shook as they passed. I miss those days and I know I can never go back.
