In January, I noticed swelling under my left armpit. In late February I went to my doctor and was told it feels like a cyst, nothing to worry about but was sent for a ultrasound just in case. A day later the doctor made emergency appointment and told me the ultrasound revealed a highly suspicious mass in my lymph nodes. He called a cancer doctor right there in the room from his cell phone and scheduled me to meet with him an hour later. Cancer doctor checked me out and told me I most likely have lymphoma. I had a biopsy done and CT scans. Biopsy revealed it is indeed cancer but the pathology was sent for a second opinion to determine exactly what type of lymphoma it is. 30 years old, always been in good health but this has shaken me. My whole life is changing before my eyes and sometimes I just don't know how or what to think because it feels like everything is going so fast yet feels so slow. Have an appt tomorrow and hopefully some more answers so we can talk treatment.. This pape helps tho for some reason
