Basically, you create a folder on the desktop, no need to bother with a specific name
Right click the task bar and go to the toolbar section, add a new toolbar, select the folder on your desktop
make sure your taskbar is unlocked, and drag the folder toolbar to the left side of the icons, next to the start orb, and extend the folder to 'push' the taskbar icons into the middle
finally, right click the toolbar, deselect 'show title' and 'show text' making it invisible, lock the taskbar to hide the sliders and delete the folder, leaving you with an invisible toolbar that no longer exists, but keeps the icons in the centre.
