Managed to get into college this week (I'm English so it's more like American High School but it's optional (I'm older than most people there because I had a year of depressing shit to deal with)). So that was cool, maybe my life won't be too bad after all/

I've been playing Jedi Knight Academy for nostalgia purposes. Still not a bad game, even if the lightsaber mechanic (as much as I love it) is mostly just tapping the LMB as fast as possible.

In england you go to primary school (4-11 years old) then High school/secondary school (12 - 16) and then you can leave education if you want, or you can go onto further education in a college or what's called a '6th form' which is normally an extension from your high school. When you've completed further education you can go to university.

While I think the armed forces are a necessary thing I often feel like people join as either a last resort or because they have no idea what they want to do. You should make sure it's what you want before you make any hard decisions. Only last year I was considering the same thing but I had a real think about it and realized it wasn't what I wanted, it would just be an easy alternative: I figured out what I want in life and I'm slowly working towards it now

Favorite song? Oh man.
It's a 3-way tie between Grinning Mouths, False Light, and Threshold. Ghost Key is a great song too, though, and gets an honorable mention.

What about their earlier albums, Celestial and The Red Sea? I never was able to get into Celestial much, but I like Red Sea for what it is.

well, depends what volume of work you handle.
Since I can't do much because of my University studies, no, it doesn't pay well, but for the amount of work, yea, once you have the handle of things its a good side job.

Recently I did all the adverts for a local book where the local amenities were explained, they were about 50 adverts, I got payed 500€, took me about 6-7 days of 4 hours of work, that was ok.
I do things like that, they call me, I do the job, freelancing I think it is, am I wrong?

What was the hardest part?
I have shitloads of ideas, many different worlds created, someone once told me one of my stories felt as deep as Middle-Earth.

So basically I'm an ideas guy so far, what I need is some form of motivation to write longer pieces. I would share them but since I have been sincerely warned by friends who have had work stolen in the past I'd rather not.

It took me 24 years to learn how to actually be happy in life, and now that I've come back home I'm starting to realize that the people who surround me all see things the other way. Everyone who I've grown up around is miserable. What really stings is that it feels as if no one supports my career ambitions.

Came back from working as a server for a wedding. Slipped backwards in the kitchen carrying a gatorade jug full of ice water painful as fuck but thank the lord no one in the room. Actually, it probably would have been more funny if people saw it.
