Like, it's almost as if the pictuire appears darker because the buildings are not well lit, but you can still see them.
Not like a picture of a city, wherein, because it's being take in the dark, all you see are the lights, so you don't notice the buildings, most of which are dark and empty because it's after hours, I guess.
you know what I mean, There's space (the buildings) in this picture filling up where normally, in a dark, city picture, there would be black space interspersed with city lights.
