What you heard is bullshit, running Win10 since release (and tried some builds before release) and never had driver problems, also got a dual screen setup.
Only thing you need to take care of is all the data collection, which is easily disabled when you read into it a little (there are lots of guides on it).
All in all it's a great update to win8 (yes, i used win8 since its release too), boot times and loading times of pretty much everything have increased big time. Even got more FPS in games.
Most of the 'problems' in win10 you read about is written by linuxfags that want to make you paranoid about windows in general so you switch to their beloved linux distros.
