>>6357959>need more relevant ricing linksNo.
Official Desktop & Phone threads can maintain their own, up-to-date pastebin and resource linkage. It is not the responsibility of /wg/ to recommend dozens of resources for every need or want. A few of the most basic links are quite adequate. The current amount of links is about good enough; update dead ones or even reduce by one or two is fine.
>>6357955> 1) Look before you postNot sure of the exact wording, but something like "Use the fucking catalog or leave" could be worked into that. Repeat offenders can enjoy their ban.
Some subset guideline could be worked in there, such as:
6) Fill out the subject when posting a new thread, use relevant (and correctly spelled) key words in both the subject and the first ~150 characters of the OP so that the catalog function becomes even more useful than it already is.
Too wordy the way I put it, but I'm just putting the idea on the table. If it's a good idea, write it up better.
Honestly, that proposed guideline would be unnecessary if the 4chan posting software refused to accept a post that doesn't have the Subject filled out and at least 100 characters in the OP. Users who fill those fields with garbage should get reported and suck a ban for a day or three.
Any mods reading this? Take the idea to the mod board. Most of the boards (if not all) here could use that software implementation. Use /wg/ /hr/ and /aco/ as test boards until it works well, then implement it everywhere else it's needed.
