Should be WW2, because the helmets look like Wehrmachthelme, the uniforms-jackets look like the Eisenhower-Jacken from the last years of war and the grenades on the bottom right of the picture should be the Model 24 grenade, the Stielhandgranate of the German Wehrmacht.

Wrong, it's world war 1. The pic is from the Osprey Book on the battle of Vimy Ridge in 1917 between Germany and Canada. This late in the war German soldiers looked less like the stereotypical WW1 soldier and more "modern".

It looks like the artist was going for the M1916 helmet. The grenades are also WW1.
Everything seems period correct to me.

Yes, it is correct. If you people are expecting the Pickelhaube, you are wrong, they weren't used at the end of WW1. The handgrenades are the Stielhandgranaten that were introduced in 1915.

Yes it is correct. If you are expecting the stereotypical Pickelhaube helmet: Not used after 1916. The hand grenade model is also right, it's the 1915 model stick grenade. Also no Wehrmacht symbols anywhere.
