download the whole folder, put it where you want it on your computer
drag and drop the index.html file into your browser, then copy the url from the address bar
go to about:config, search for browser.newtab.url and set it to the address you copied

Ran across a weird problem when messing with bbLean. The text and buttons on my windows were transparent and while looking for way to change that I ran across a button labeled "Transparency" in one of the BlackBox menus.

As soon as I clicked that every menu became transparent and for the life of me I can't figure out how to revert that. Any ideas?

Fixed the transparency problem with the menus, but still can't figure out the other part.

The darker I make the titlebar the more transparent it becomes. The titlebar is supposed to be completely black in the screenshot but instead it's transparent.

I'm having a hard time figuring out how the fuck xinit works since I can't make openbox start right with xinit.

With startx everything goes great, but I don't know how can I make tint2 start with openbox using startx, and I'm trying from xinit, but without results.

openbox has an autostart file in the config folder, put your programs you want to run on start in there and openbox will load them for you

Now I'm researching why tint2 don't let me edit it. It says "Properties are not apply yet" or some shit like that (not on laptop right now)

Thanks for the info mate but I really wanted that you share your configs through a download link off mediafire or something, reason is I admire your rice a lot and came pretty close to replicating it but there are some things I can't figure out. editing the browser css and foobar skin is a bit off and i don't know where to start in fixing them. I understand if you're not willing but I really love the dark minimalist setup and it would work great on my dual monitors too. I would really love and settle for just the foobar and browser files

Also what font are you using? I think it's terminus but can't change it on appchan x for some reason

you're talking about the icons normally in the titlebar of explorer?

it's okay in terms of function, i haven't ran into any problems on that front caused by the vs. for the font i think i did some mactype work + tweaked the native windows settings for it but again, i'm not sure. it was a long time ago.

to be honest my whole rice is being held up by spit and duct tape.

you can just pin all your applications/programms /folders to your start menu by right-clicking them and choosing "pin to start". then you just need to aligne them and maybe change the size of the icons to "small"

you also don't need the cortana icon in the taskbar, since you can search when opening the start menu and just typing what you want to search

Might need to mess with it: download the .xpi, rename it to .zip, extract it, open the install.rdf, edit the maxVersion to something higher than your version of firefox, save, zip it up, rename back to .xpi, drag and drop onto firefox window.

That's actually really smart. insta saving pics to my generic picture folder for instant use always makes my shit messy really quick. I'm gonna start doing that, hopefully it doesnt just become a huge trash folder full of stuff i dont have the time to sort though lol.

i was thinking about doing something with more main folders and less subfolders, so it loads a little quicker on my slow ass HDD.

and yeah, ocasionally it becomes a trash folder, but i have lots of pics (almost 5k wallpapers, 413 in the sorting folder, and ~10k in pics) sorting through it and naming it all is sorta theraputic for me though, just turn on some trance and go for an hour or so.

Open Nocturnal.msstyles and edit the path file on both [Control Panel\Desktop] and [VisualStyles] then apply the theme normally. That's how I got mine to work

I have MenuLibre currently but can't seem to be able to put a directory within another directory. Anyone know how?

ANON PLS. Pick one. Better yet, clear all that shit from your desktop. Especially CCleaner. If you need to use it that often to justify having it on your desktop, you got problems bigger than your layout.
