I like combat photography, too, but I think it's actually impossible to not glorify war. Even a pile of mangled corpses covered in shit and vomit and piss and gore is still exciting to look at, somehow. Probably actual combat vets wouldn't feel that way, but I do. I can't help it; it looks like fun to me.
Oh, and I don't have a really horrible, gory, anti-war one, but just so that I contribute something along with the comment, here's a good non-combat one.
