two shots, one with him in position and one without him at all, put one over hte other and cut off the entirety of his body and wherever it interacts with the model's outline. Issue probably came where her arm didn't allign properly, so the decision was made to extend the arm without him there past her outline and to her stomach, then fade it out to make the overlap less obvious,
