So you like impressionism. Start there, check antique stores and auctions in your area. I used to work at one and we got a bunch of really nice artwork that went for cheap because it wasn't by one of the big names.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If you want something on your wall , find a living artist that you're a fan of and commission a wall piece. Although if you'd like a suggestion for a print , I'd suggest either this piece or "A Wanderer above a sea of fog " by Caspar David Friedrich
