I have been sad and in pain for a long time now. I have had many exciting and happy times but the feelings soon fade leaving me empty again. But I push on knowing my wife would never forgive me if I gave up on the things in my life that define who I am.

It has been 1146 days since I watched my wife take her last breath on this Earth.

I wrote a poem a few days later to help me remember our life together and how if felt when that was torn away from me. Please take the time to read it. I can post the text if anyone wants it, the wonderful anon who edited the pape for me sadly mis-copied a few lines.
