If in Kazan no one would accept salary less than $300 a month(laughable amount for any westerner, I know), they think it's some kind of joke when someone offers them that amount(too much, unbelievable). You can go work to Moscow and get x5 salary(entry level web developer for example) but if you have nowhere to stay there, you're going to waste 70% on rent.
