this is large-format film photography by gregory crewdson. it's from his "Beneath the Roses" series. There's a documentary about this entire photo series titled "Brief Encounters" if it sounds interesting to you.
it's actually pretty difficult to get a high-res image file of this specific photo, so this is kind of a valuable collectible. just sayin.
