I'll try and break down my process.

1. Top-left is a custom skin of Foobar2000, which I edited from twnsnd's foo_ncmpcpp. Read his tutorial on Foobar skins if you want to make your own, otherwise I can give you the .fcl if you just want mine.

2. Shell is a custom BBlean skin, I edited dark as my soul from chloechantelle's BBlean pack and changed the font to Haxrcorp S8. Look up her site, plenty of tutorials for W10 on there; I'm also using MacType font rendering. The most beginner friendly BBlean skin is probably bb_crim, which includes information in the comments on how to make it look like mine.

It might be a bit daunting at first but gets really easy with practice.

I am on ESR right now because I don't want to leave my vimperator setup with a minimal css. With FF57, I can replace vimperator but I am still looking for a minimal css for it

The current api is not as flexible as the previous one. So yes, you can edit userChrome.css but you can't make ultra minimal interfaces like twily's powerline css

Holy shit all this white. Just wiped my arch install because holy fuck the devs are dumb as fuck, updated the package manager and it broke because it never installed a dependency it needed so install debian from a netinstall with only system tools. Nice non-bloated system that has competent devs.

got a thinkpad, today was the first night I felt like ricing it a bit.

I'm really satisfied with the tint2, openbox and gtk theme + the icon set but have to change the wallpaper to something a bit more oldschool quickly.

also the mishmash of apple (icons+profont) ms (the pointer) and gtk themes is in retrospect a bit tacky but fuck if I wanted best of all worlds.
