If you're into detail-oriented world & character building, plus heavy prose that is both dense and beautiful, recommended read. Really. Don't speed read her work. It sometimes gets to be a bit much, but she hand-crafts every sentence. Well worth submersing yourself in her imagery & descriptions. Not all of her work is great, but a lot of it is. Try The Time of the Dark (trilogy) for some eldritch horror mixed with science-based wizardry.
