Having to drive everywhere is miserable. I'd 100% go back to smelling trash and piss when I walked around if it meant I got to see people spontaneously in a setting that wasn't fucking work.
Life doesn't have a purpose or a narrative that we can see and I think that's sunk in for most of us. But some neurotic fear of openness still remains. The best you can do is to pour love on everyone you see.
