Last year was the worst year of my life.

Had it not been for a freak near death experience, I probably would have committed suicide.

Recently I found the suicide note I had written at my worst, days before the accident that turned things around. At the time, I could not remember any of the happy moments of my life without pain, and none of the happiest moments period.

Likely similar to most of us at some time or another, during that time I posted here more.

Due to time, luck, a new support network, medication, and therapy I have personally weathered 2020 relatively well, and am more accepting of life (personally and professionally) than I have ever been.

In that spirit, for those of us who have been or are in similar situations, for myself, and for those of us who unfortunately could not endure before the dawn came, I'd like to make a thread for images that inspire hope, or ones that helped you during the darkest time.

The images do not even need to be good wallpapers, per se, but helping you personally during strife is enough.
