My first time customizing windows desktop.
what should I do with the taskbar?

remove search weather etc or u can hide the taskbar but it is annoying when it pops up

I put windows in light mode and removed search and weather button and downloaded taksbar X , looking way better already

Nothing, you can't really modify the taskbar on windows... If you want to actually customize everything you will need to hop on the Linux journey

what a brainlet take. of course you can replace both start menu and taskbar on windows, it's not like there's some police that forces you to use vanila microsoft software only

You can go much further OP
keep working if you really like rainmeter you can do better things like that custom task bar that I have above.
but you must have the RAM,8 is plenty
not much different from using gnome on linux
you have windows 10 so you can use themes I'm screwed in windows 8 in that aspect so you can definitely go further
