This pertains to a statistics math problem.
A question reads something along the lines of:
6 pack of baseball cards with a 10% of getting a single holographic card in each pack. Getting a holographic card is the same from each pack and the events are independent.
Question reads:
What is the probability that the collector gets more than four holographic cards?
Originally when I tried the answer I tried using the combinations formula nCr, (6 5).1^5(1-.1)^6-5, to solve it. This was wrong and the only note I was given was "5 or 6".
I've tried to Google this problem in multiple ways and have yet to find the answer or something similar that would help. Well, except for Chegg. I don't have an account on there however.
Does anyone know how exactly to go about this? I don't understand the note and I feel like that's the problem.
