More details: bullies.
Just like how at the beginning we see the dad deal with an asshole and not being able to confront him, we see the son and his weirdo friend being threatened by bullies. A couple of shits that were bigger than our boys and acted tough.
And when our boys showed their film at the end, and the people from the community was sitting down for the show, we see the bullies again, sitting in the back, planning to be shits again. They planned to disrupt the presentation (had brought tomatoes or stink bombs, something like that. Maybe firecrakers).
One of them whispered to the other
>As soon as the lights go off, you take out the (element of disruption) and throw it, and then
But as they were making their plans, the Native American comes and sits right next to them. He was a big guy with broad shoulder and the bullies immediately shut up. The Native tells them:
>You know? These boys are my very good friends, and when the movie ends, we're all gonna clap and cheer. Right?
And the bullies, intimidated by the big guy, of course say "yes sir" and don't disrupt.
And After the presentation, while the people are clapping, we see the bullies clapping too but it's clear that it's not because the Native American intimidated them. They're clapping because the movie was cool.
So even the shitty bullies actually liked it.
