Any shows that have good psychological mindgames?

I really enjoy the psychological mindgames in Kaiji, but not the psychological horror aspect; I find the antagonists' sadism just too unsettling to deal with and there are long passages that just put me off. I'm wondering if there's something that has the same kind of analytical approach to behaviour and choices, but without the absolutely insane and horrific stakes.
