I'm not sure if this was from something like twilight zone or something else, but here's the description of what I remember happened:
>some dude has a wife and kids
>he seems to prepare some subterranean bunker for nuclear fallout
>he's there with some friend of his and then there seems to be some explosion or something
>both of them decide to take refuge there
>time happens and the friend decides to go out to explore
>he goes out, against the other dude will, and then knocks back saying everything is too dark
>the other dude inside doesn't let him in, because "he may already be contaminated"
>time after, the dude decides to arm himself with a lot of weapons he has, and I think decides to go out
>in the final cut, the dude's family is there, in some graveyard or something, crying for the dude (or that's how I remember it)
does this sound familiar to anyone?
i remember watching this at least 20 years ago.
