i bought a smackin brand new phone a few months ago and it is already going in the fucking garbage because i dropped it from 2 feet and the screen no longer turns on (dont even fucking tell me to put a case on it, i did) im trying to get texts, calls, and data to my PC so i can abandon having a mobile device altogether but i have been unable to find anything about getting stuff like that going without having it linked to some sort of physical device beforehand. i just need to make and receive calls and texts, and use data (although the data isnt necessary since i could just get a hotspot.) linux applications preferred, if any apps exist at all
