>>1457520No one really makes simple RPG's anymore, the last one you could argue being closest to DQ1 in terms of simplish gameplay would be Earthbound, Metal Max Returns or Pokemon Red or probably some later Gameboy titles like maybe Legend of the River King but I haven't played that.
Phantasy Star 1 did get a remake for the PS2 but it's not that good.
