Hello /wsr/, I have 2 unrelated questions:
1. Where did "t. knower" come from?
2. Why do internet lefties keep referencing goblins? Did I miss a meme or something? No I'm not talking about that one streamer.

t. knower isn't really from anything but if you wanted to trace it to something then there's all the ">he doesn't know" posts. another similar origin could be the "does he know?" meme originating from the thumbnail of a YT video discussing the 2022 batman movie.
could you specify more about "internet lefties" and "that one streamer"?

I see. When I say internet lefties I mean people who you can probably tell them what their opinions are just from their writing style. Adam Ellis (buzzfeed comic guy) refers to himself has a goblin in his twitter bio for example and I've seen other people refer to goblins in some way but I don't recall specifics.
"That one streamer" is vaush, he got caught with loli porn and he said he thought they were goblins or some shit but that's something else.

"t." is short for terveisin, "regards"
Basically it's the poster signing off the post as a knower

I found results on "t. knower" from as early as 2014.

At first I theorized that "knower" might have come from terms like "noticer" but that doesn't appear until 2017.
