a. You can no longer use guns or carry a gun.
b. You cannot possess guns in your home unless they are owned by someone else and locked such that you cannot access them.
c. You cannot vote.
d. Certain jobs are actually illegal for you to work. So if you have one of those jobs that a felon is not allowed to have, then you have to quit to satisfy the law.
e. Certain permits and licenses are prohibited to felons. If a job requires such a permit, then you can no longer work that job. If you own a business but it requires a prohibited business permit, then you have to transfer the business to someone else.
f. As a felon, your employer may fire you for that reason. Firing someone simply because of felony status is legal in my state.
g. Being a felon has a statistically significant chance of making you less prosperous before you reach retirement age.
