Fedora KDE videos broken

I switched to Fedora KDE and I have problems:
>some video thumbnails appear glitchy
>looping videos works poorly (audio plays fine but image is lagging after repeating)
>sometimes firefox buttons dont work

I do have the latest drivers installed for my Nvidia 1660 GTX.
With Pop OS everything worked right out of the box so it's not a hardware issue.

Didnt help, unfortunately. Thumbnails still fucked, some mp4's still wont play, looping still fucked.

Is there something wrong with the videos' encoding? If you open one and try to use the seekbar, does it restart the video?
From my experience, if a video is like that, the thumbnailer on KDE can fuck it up.

Also, audio breaks every time I plug in my headphones

Open Discover and enable the non-free repos, make sure you are using the proprietary nvidia drivers and not Nouveau

Post results:

# Check video drivers in use
$ lspci -n -n -k | grep -A 2 -e VGA -e 3D

# Check active GPU driver
$ glxinfo | grep -e OpenGL.vendor -e OpenGL.renderer

# List available and default GPU
$ switcherooctl list

Make sure you are using the proprietary drivers

Also make sure ffmpeg is installed and reboot
$ sudo dnf install ffmpeg ffmpegthumbnailer

There's your problem, that's a gimped version of FFMPEG without proprietary codecs.

Enable RPM Fusion and RPM Fusion nonfree
https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/quick-docs/rpmfusion-setup/

Then install swap ffmpeg-free for ffmpeg
sudo dnf swap ffmpeg-free ffmpeg --allowerasing

Thx mate!
This fixed all the glitched up thumbnails and non-working videos.
Videos on Firefox seem to loop fine too.
Perhaps I wont switch back to Pop OS afterall.

Battle.net is still broken most of the time through Lutris.

Does the game work if you add it to Steam and through the game proprieties set compatibility to Proton Experimental?
