Outlier high intelligence is associated more with autism, because autism is associated more with systematic thinking instead of empathetic thinking. I would say I'm decent at math, I would be even better if I wasn't a social outcast and could apply to a school learning more advanced math from there instead of doing it on my own. Also math is associathed with higher general intelligence than language. So being good at math is a decent indication of intelligence.
