Why do we like Loona? Well, it's not a one-size-fits-all description, but I can certainly explain myself (kinda)
Let's push everything into some relevant categories that can lead to attraction and attachment. I'm not saying these are your contributing factors, I'm saying these could be contributing factors.
here we go.
>1. Sexual fetish
>2. Trauma
>3. Shared desire
>4. Personality mirror
>5. Shared pain
>6. Investment in universe
>7. Loneliness
Seven categories. Oh boy. Let's get to explaining what I mean by each of them, and how I personally would fall into it, as an example.
>Sexual Fetish.
'come on, you know why...' --Loona
simply put, you think some part of her is hot as shit.
you don't really know why, but you do.
For me, I think she's got a really nice ass (forgive me, Loona) and I really like the exposed tummy w the croptop.
dunno why, it just makes me go 'uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhHHHHHHHHHHH'
>Trauma.
sad but true, trauma can cause attachment.
I was abandoned by all the people I thought were my friends, and I have a deep-seated fear of being abandoned, and still secretly think everyone hates me.
This causes me to get overly attached to people I don't think will abandon me.
More on this later.
>Shared desire.
'You all don't deserve to know my name' -- Loona
You share a desire with the character, something that drives you to your very core.
It's easy to be attracted to someone if you have common ground.
>Personality mirror
Opposites attract.
when combined with shared desire, it's a powerful force. Then they become like your other half.
I was someone like Loona once, but vowed not to do that shit anymore, and so now I'm more like a less-perverse-less-gay-blitzo who bottles up his feelings because he can't handle the truth
or something like that. She's the opposite of me now, I want to help her to become more like me, because she's my opposite.
>Shared pain
You share a pain, or trauma, with your obsession
