>>3305084Ah, well that sucks as much as it doesn't then, don't think I've ever had any Overwatch related dreams really, or at least not any that I remember.
That's the part that just makes it a mess, the PM didn't budge at all, it was very much an invasion(Again depending on how spiteful the authorities felt like being) mixed with some treason, IIRC if you fail the mission in game, one of Jack's lines is essentially "How do I explain this to the PM/Director/Security Council", although I agree that Overwatch saving the day would be cause for quietly brushing the fact that they were told to bugger off under the rug and just say "Hey you guys did good, have these awards", it would be political suicide not to do so.
That's also a point about the Massacre too, didn't occur to me before actually, appreciate that.
HOWEVER, speaking of Blackwatch not knowing things, you've made me think about it, and now I have to disagree. I have to give Nu-EA a LITTLE credit for not having Moira(And Genji) there while Gabe and Jesse are. Gabe disappeared from the public eye to do 'Overwatch things' after the Crisis(And Jack getting put in charge), and Jesse was maybe just 'generic Bluewatch Trooper No. 44111' as far as Joe Public was concerned, whereas Moira was VERY publicly kicked out of Overwatch(I think) and the international scientific community for being...herself(There was a much more severe comparison I ALMOST made there, but I really shouldn't). Also Genji was sort of really, really edgy, so he wasn't a good fit either.
It really does worry me that thinking about this little detail makes me hope more than anything they've done recently.
