Also that's actually not a half bad theory on Q, although the question on how Q's """personality""" exists. Either way it would be the most fitting and respectful way to handle Q's character.
In effect however that would also imply that the Dummy Plug bodies are in all technicality not Rei (even though one could see them as extensions of Rei). And then the same would apply to Q, which would make Q an extension of the original Rei....
This is why I always find it easier to say "Fuck Rebuild".
