Before we go any further, I want to be clear about something: I also don't have much faith in Blizzard, and for me it started with their treatment of Jaina, even before they derailed her. But I'm at least willing to accredit them with knowing how to make money, so my sense of hope is mostly sustained by the simple logic that they have a material interest in ensuring at least a fair portrayal for a character worth so much in marketing, merchandise and lootbox goodies. I'm not a shill, and I'm not naive; I just see no practical value in allowing such a prominent character to be perceived as not cheer-worthy for too long. For me, it's not entirely about lore; it's also about keeping your customers, and a character you can cheer for is inherently more valuable than one you can't. That's my perspective, and that's where I'm coming from when I stress that there is still reason to not yet give in to despair, because I believe there is a wholly tangible, if materialist, reason to not give up on her.
And now, on to your concerns.
>>3218725That's fair enough, but unless she's saying things like "You know what's garbage? Time-travelers who don't die" I can't imagine how much worse she could be compared to the current staff. Regardless of whatever the contents of her previous work have been, I think we should at least not jump to conclusions until we see how she handles the lore of this series.
